Cherokee XJ - rear bumper installation instructions: 1. Remove factory bumper inside trim. If your jeep weld nut plates protruding from the monocoque frame has, you remove one as shown in figure. 2. If your jeep factory with a tow package provided you already have inside both unibody frame rail weld nuts. If not, you will have just one on the passenger's side, which is used for the exhaust bracket. Remove most rear exhaust clamp screw and loosen screw forward enough, the clamp and the heat shield to reduce fuel tank. You have a tow package used Jeep 12 mm bolts in the weld nuts. If I add the weld nut plate into the driver side monocoque frame with weld nuts no tow package above and the two nuts closest together in first go to the front of the Jeep. Figure two shows the driver side frame from the bottom.
