Audi TT/VW GTI/Jetta/Golf performance Chip Upgrade installation instructions
This handout is intended to guide you through the steps necessary to upgrade your vehicle with one of our performance chips. Also be aware that the APR is just a phone call away should you have any questions or comments regarding any APR-products.
Step 1: Car Park.
Car is off and key is out of ignition. Engage the parking brake. (Optional): remove battery cable. Beware! Before you disconnect the battery, determine the correct encoding for the anti-theft radio.
Step 2: remove wipers.
Remove wipers convenience removal and installation of ECM.
Use a flat head screwdriver to the plastic cover of the Wiper arm. Remove wiper arms by the 13 mm nut securing the Wiper arms unbolting. After the nut is removed the wiper arm must be stirred to remove the arm of the mount. Note the location of the wiper arm for re-instillation.
Repeat this procedure for both sides.
Step 3: remove factory Weather-stripping.
Step 4: Remove Plastic cover About pollen Filter.
Step 5: remove Plastic bracket, noting location of tabs
Step 6: tab on cable tree trek to the left, and left cable tree removal.
